What to Expect
Neighbourhood Connectors is a free, face-to-face befriending and listening service for people who may be feeling lonely, isolated or disconnected from their community.
Our trained volunteers provide regular friendly conversations, either at home or within the community, helping people feel heard, valued and more connected. Sometimes all it takes is a simple chat and a familiar face to make a real difference.
We support older adults, people living with long-term health conditions, carers, veterans, people living in care homes or supported accommodation, those preparing to leave hospital, and anyone who would benefit from regular social connection and companionship.
Alongside providing a listening ear, we can also offer information and signposting to local services, groups and organisations where appropriate.
